Auricular Acu-Detox - 5NP Protocol
Auricular Acu-Detox, often referred to as the 5 Needle Protocol (5NP), is an acupuncture treatment where 5 needles or seeds are placed in each ear with corresponding points in the body’s rest-and-digest and social engagement systems. The five points are identified as the sympathetic, shenmen, kidney, liver, and lung systems. 5NP aids in the treatment of shifting flight, fight, or freeze responses to a parasympathetic state of rest, induces relaxation, self-regulation and management of sadness, anger, and chronic stress, and decreases symptoms associated with depression and anxiety including fatigue, grief and loss, insomnia. 5NP also supports adrenal glands that may be overstressed, while increasing detoxification and minimizing cravings associated with smoking cessation or other types of addiction and recovery. Treatments vary from 30-45 minutes and can be used as an add-on to other services. Recommended treatment and frequency may vary based on the severity and scope of symptoms.

Counseling & Medication Management
Counseling is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a clinically trained and licensed mental health professional. Many clients seek out therapy due to experiencing distressing or debilitating symptoms that interfere with their daily lives and overall functioning. Many clients seek out therapy because they are experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety and require professional support and guidance to alleviate suffering and restore functioning. In individual counseling, the client is provided with a warm, safe, non-judgemental environment that allows for the processing of their thoughts and feelings, as well as identifying and learning healthy and adaptive strategies for coping with their symptoms.
In clinical sessions, the therapist utilizes specific treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as other efficacious modalities to guide and inform treatment. The therapist and client work together to develop a treatment plan with specific, measurable goals. Clinical progress is measured by progress made towards the attainment and resolution of treatment goals.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are available for consultation, evaluation, and medication management services.

Readings may validate your own intuition, while providing support and guidance in areas where you may feel paralyzed or unable to move forward. Readings may provide perspective, guidance, and clarity when exploring your intuition, establishing your goals for wellness, and channeling spiritual guides around you to support you with love and light. Readings are conducted by our co-owner, Alycia Bedrosian Hatch, who has been a spiritual and energy practitioner for many years, stemming from childhood where she learned the art of reading tea leaves from her grandmother.

Business Coaching
Business coaching assists and guides clients in starting and/or running their own business, as well as evaluating and assisting with improving productivity and profitability. The coach assists by helping clients clarify the vision of their business and understand how their business plan and model aligns with their personal goals. Coaching is a process in which the coach assists in assessing the client’s business plan, designs actionable steps to transform the business and provides support and accountability to ensure each client achieves success.

Clinical supervision for pre-licensed clinicians (LCSW). Services may include 60 minute individual supervision, group supervision, LICSW exam preparation, with an agreement to sign off on supervision hours for Rhode Island and Massachusetts state licensing applications.

EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of distressing or traumatic life experiences.
After successful treatment with EMDR therapy, affective (emotional) distress is relieved, negative beliefs are reformulated, and physiological arousal is reduced. During EMDR therapy the client focuses on emotionally disturbing material in brief sequential doses while simultaneously focusing on an external stimulus. Dr. Shapiro (1995, 2001) hypothesizes that EMDR therapy facilitates the accessing of the traumatic memory network, so that information processing is enhanced, with new associations forged between the traumatic memory and more adaptive memories or information.
These new associations are thought to result in complete information processing, new learning, elimination of emotional distress, and development of cognitive insights.

Mindset Coaching
Mindset Coaching is a collaboration between the client and coach who join as partners in addressing present concerns and identifying any obstacles interfering with the client’s happiness and personal fulfillment. Although it is sometimes confused with individual therapy, it is quite different. The coach and client work together to find resolution to the client’s struggles and stress through empowerment, encouragement and directive guidance. They work together focused on the ultimate goal of improving and restoring emotional, physical and spiritual wellness, fulfillment and happiness. In Mindset Coaching, the client is guided to access tools designed to empower them to be secure in their life choices, lead happier and more fulfilled lives and experience less stress and worry.
